Depictions of human beings undoubtedly belong to the most impressive displays of neolithic art. It is a numerous and variable complex of findings, which also includes vessels with depicted parts of face, or even whole figures as well as individuals with anthropomorphic knobs. These occur in the inventories of the first agricultural societies in the area of Carpathian Basin, and we come across them as the display of Early or even Late Neolithic cultures in the course of more than a thousand-year evolution. The quantitative and qualitative peak is reached during the Middle Neolithic period in the whole area of broadening the culture with linear ceramics....

Liberalisation of political situation at the beginning of the 1860s brought also an important progress of transformation process towards civic society, one of the characteristic features of which was establishment of various clubs and associations. Baťa Company put a great emphasis on educating their employees and their families. Bata's School of Work, which integrated theoretical education and practical experience in the factory, was founded in 1925. At the same time, thanks to compulsory accommodation in halls of residence, the education could also form the overall life style of the students, or young men and young women as they were known. The School for Girls had already existed since 1929, until 1933 it was, however, organised as a family skills school. The structure and organisation of Baťa Company sales network was based on a system of autonomous units in which the key element was the personality of an employee - a shop assistant. Applicants for jobs with Baťa Company were motivated by remuneration and self-reliance as well as modern way of work and life.
